The Maui Coastal Land Trust is pleased to accept gifts of stock or of securities. We maintain an account with Smith Barney, and your broker or financial advisor can easily arrange an account transfer authorization on a Smith Barney / Citigroup form we can provide which includes our account information. Alternatively, your broker/advisor can direct the gift with the account and DTC Clearing numbers provided below.

We ask that you inform us separately of your gift so that we can provide you with a letter documenting its value. When stocks or securities are transferred directly to our broker, there may be only a donor account number shown, so that we have no record of who the donor is. Consequently we have no way of knowing who initiated the gift and are therefore unable to provide a letter of acknowledgment and also note our appreciation in our quarterly newsletter Coastalviews. If you wish your gift to be anonymous, simply let us know and we will list it as such in our donor appreciation notices while still supplying you with an acknowledgment for the IRS.
